Auto-Q is a premium performance, automated, modular Thermal Cycler (Thermocycler) System consisting of Server and Satellite modules providing a flexible network, expandable in single Thermal Cycler (Thermocycler) increments and designed to fulfill the needs of the most demanding Life Science laboratories.
Driven through the 8.5 inch touch screen, partnered with a 300mhz embedded PC, the intuitive user interface of the Auto-Q server is used to independently control up to four Thermal Cyclers(Thermocycler): a Server and up to three Satellites, Auto-Q or QB-96, through a simple USB network.
All units can concurrently run their own individual protocols and a convenient summary screen shows the all thermal cycler (Thermocycler) runs in real time. Each piece of data is recorded on a unique GLP file. The user interface facilitates rapid program creation and execution of even complex protocols including touchdown, time and temperature increments and hot starts.
Four independent thermal engines deliver rapid ramp rates, of up to 3.0°C per second, excellent block uniformity and superior performance including near linear gradients of up to 30 °C.
Thermal Blocks can be interchanged in seconds without tools and options include 96 well 0.2ml / microplate; 48 x 0.5ml/ 48 x 0.2ml combi block, a 384 well microplate block for high throughput laboratories and a Microarray/Slide block.
The most advanced programming allows users to create protocols employing any combination of temperature, touchdown, hot start, gradient or store steps in seconds. Users can even choose to use the wizard function where protocols are automatically generated from primer sequence, template type and size of amplicon.
The unique lid mechanism automatically opens and closes the lid and pressurises the sample at user defined steps in the protocol. This makes it the perfect partner for up and downstream processing machinery, including robots, in the highest throughput laboratories.
The unit is universal voltage (100V – 250V) and comes with a 2 year warranty as standard and which can be extended on request.
